摘要

In this research, firstly, preparation and characterization of a novel dicationic molten salt, namely N,N,N,N '-tetramethylethylenediaminium bisulfate ([TMEDA][HSO4](2)), by H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, FT-IR, mass, thermogravimetry, derivative thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis data have been reported. Thereafter, utilization of [TMEDA][HSO4](2) as a recyclable catalyst for the solvent-free synthesis of bis(6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil-5-yl)methanes via the reaction of 6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil (2 eq.) and arylaldehydes (1 eq.) has been described.
