Spirit AeroSystems joins forming center

Aerospace composites company Spirit AeroSystems has reportedly become a member of the University of Strathclyde's Advanced Forming Research Centre(AFRC),a research institution that focuses on innovation and breakthrough manufacturing technologies.Spirit has also invested in a new 70,000 ft2 Aerospace Innovation Centre at its manufacturing site in Prestwick,Scotland,which will open in 2020.
