Cascade Thrust Reverser Design, Test and Evaluation work at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc.

摘要

A cascade thrust reverser was designed for a notional single aisle commercial airliner. The design included the bullnose, cascades, blocker doors, inner wall, nozzle, translating sleeves, etc. Flow testing was performed of a 15% scale model at representative pressure ratios for the thrust reverser deployed and stowed conditions. Furthermore, CFD analysis of the same model was performed for CFD validation and design verification.
