Basis for the Development of the Heat-Insulating Floor of a Glassmaking Furnace

摘要

Technological requirements imposed on the floor of a glassmaking furnace are formulated. Boundary conditions for the design and construction of the masonry of the floor of the melting chamber are determined. An energy-efficient structure of a heat-insulating floor that produces a decrease in the average losses of heat into the environment down to 800 W/m(2) is developed.
