摘要

We demonstrated here the suppression of stimulated Raman scattering in a two-stage fiber laser amplifier using chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings (CTFBGs) for the first time. A maximum suppression ratio nearly 11 dB and 24 dB is respectively achieved using one and two CTFBGs. Experiment results demonstrated that a more satisfying suppression could be achieved with a serials of two or more CTFBGs applied, which provides a good reference for the future power scaling of high power oscillators and amplifiers.
