Bristol-Myers Squibb and Catalent close Italian manufacturing deal

Bristol-Myers Squibb(BMS)has completed the previously announced divestment of its oral solid,biologies,sterile product manufacturing and packaging facility in Anagni,Italy,to contract manufacturer Catalent Inc.As part of the acquisition,Catalent will continue to manufacture the existing BMS portfolio currently produced there.Commenting on the acquisition,Alessandro Maselli,Catalent's President and COO,said:”The Anagni facility supplements our European commercial supply capabilities and will integrate well with our existing early development and clinical supply sites to smooth the transition from development to commercial supply.”
