InterSystems, a global leader in health information technology, has released the world's first Laboratory Business Management System (LBMS), TrakCare Lab Enterprise, and is being implemented at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust in the UK. TrakCare Lab Enterprise is a key module within the InterSystems TrakCare~R unified healthcare information system and is also available as a standalone system.
