Preserving the crystal lattice

The RETSCH XRD-Mill McCrone has been developed for the preparation of samples for subsequent X-ray diffraction (XRD). Its unique grinding motion is particularly effective for this analytical method due to the grinding elements causing linear contact blows as well as planar shearing resulting in a short grinding time with almost no sample loss and an exceptionally narrow particle size distribution.
