Two Catholic midwives have taken their health board to court for allegedly failing to recognise their objection to assisting staff in abortions.Mary Doogan and Concepta Wood told NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde that they were not prepared to delegate, supervise or support staff looking after patients undergoingmedical termination of pregnancy.The Court of Session in Edinburgh heard last week that this was rejected by the board.
