BC sawmill downtime tightens some wood supply for power and pellets; others 'fat and happy'

Biomass markets in British Columbia remain mixed so far into second quarter, depending on locality. Some are way oversupplied, while others see availability tightening. As during first quarter, growing sawmill curtailments reduce available material while power plant and pellet mill start-ups bring new demand to the picture.
