Enbridge Unloads Canada Processing, Gathering Systems for C$4.3 Billion

Canadian pipeline giant Enbridge is selling off the entirety of its gas processing systems and related gathering pipelines in British Columbia and Alberta to Brookfield Infrastructure for C$4.3 billion ($3.28 billion). Enbridge is unloading its assets in the Montney, Peace River Arch, Horn River and Liard Basins. Combined with a divestiture in May, the midstream heavyweight is moving forward to become a pure-play regulated pipeline and utility business, said Enbridge CEO Al Monaco.
