Renishaw opens STEM education center

Additive manufacturing (AM) company Renishaw has launched a Fabrication Development Centre (FDC) at the company's Miskin facility in South Wales. The FDC is intended to be an education center to encourage students to take up science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) careers. Schools or groups of young people can use the facility for free for lessons or workshops. The FDC contains two classrooms and is equipped with a range of equipment, including 3D printers.
