Tulachermet (Russia) to cut pig iron production in August

Russia’s Tulachermet plans to reduce pig iron production in August by 44,000 tonnes to 124,000 tonnes due to somemaintenance work at BF No.3 with 133,000 tpy capacity. The unit will be stopped in the last third of this month forabout 25 days. Therefore, the material output in September will be also lower than usual and amount to 105,000-115,000 tonnes.
