ZOOPLANKTON COMMUNITY STRUCTURE AND DYNAMICS ALONG THE ROMANIAN BLACK SEA AREA IN 2017

Research over time has highlighted the complex and varied role of zooplankton in the marine ecosystem. This fact requires monitoring of the zooplanktonic component in order to reflect changes both in the short term and especially for the long-term evolution of the marine ecosystem. In this paper, the data describing the distribution and abundance of micro-, meso-and macrozoo-plankton in the Romanian Black Sea, during the spring and summer season 2017, are discussed.
