According to the latest United States Agriculture Census, there are more than 321,000 young producers (decision-makers) age 35 or less on just over 240,000 farms, and these young farmers have a slew of characteristics that will aid them in agribusiness. For one, they are a connected group. Millennials own multiple internet-connected devices and use those devices daily. They are adept at using available agriculture technology that can have a real impact on the success of farming.
