Fibroepithelial Lesions

摘要

Fibroepithelial lesions are biphasic neoplasms characterized by proliferation of both epithelial and stromal components. They are a common finding in the breast of young and adult women and are almost always benign or locally aggressive lesions. Nevertheless, their presence suggests an increased proliferative activity in the breast lobules and some of them are associated with an increased risk of breast cancer.
