Fresh impetus for UK offshore

The Crown Estate has launched the UK's first major offshore wind leasing round in a decade, opening up the opportunity for 7GW or more of new installations. The Crown Estate launched its offshore wind leasing Round 4 on 19 September, opening up the potential for at least 7 GW of new seabed rights for offshore wind development in the waters around England and Wales.
