FAME producers used less waste feedstock so far in calendar year 2020, but boosted that of some vegetable oils, the most-recent data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) show. E.g. the use of used cooking oil (UCO)/yellow grease was down 35% at 492 million lb (1 lb = 0.4536 kg; Q2: 184 million lb, down 53%), while more canola (January/June: 712 million lb; +25%) and soyoil (3,948 million; +8%) were used.
