SUGAR GLUT DENTS WORLD HFS PRODUCTION GROWTH

Over the last couple of years the protracted bear market for sugar has made life difficult for the manufacturers of high fructose sweeteners. However, cheap sugar has not prevented HFS production to grow further so far. This was mostly because of thespecial factors that are at work in China and the EU. China in particular could continue to see growth in 2018/19 but the rest of the world will either face stagnation or even decline.
