Global coffee futures remained under pressure and especially robustas suffered further losses amid fading concern over the 2017/18 harvest in top grower Vietnam.The most-active January robusta contract settled down $14 at $1,824 per tonne, after falling as low as $1,799 on November 8. Front-month November even shed $24 to $1,863 a tonne. Arabica futures fared a bit better with the benchmark March contract adding 0.80 cent to 127.25 cents/lb. Nearby December, which has its first notice day on November 21, gained 0.85 cent to 123.80 cents/lb.
