Arabica futures in New York posted further losses and fell to a one-month low as previous frost fears in Brazil are fading. The benchmark contract for September delivery ended down 6.450 at 101.000/lb, after dropping to a one-month low of 100.550. There is general belief that frost in Brazilian growing areas earlier this month did not damage crops as much as some had feared. Besides, there was also pressure from a weakening Brazilian real. Second-month December shed 6.600 to settle at 104.700/lb.
