PADEP Issues Advanced Notice of Proposed Water Quality Standards for Manganese The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) has solicited information for the development of proposed amendments to the Pennsylvania Code (relating to water quality standards and water quality standards implementation) pursuant to an October 30, 2017, amendment to section 1920-A of the Administrative Code of 1929, 71 Pa. Stat. Ann. § 510-20, directing the Environmental Quality Board to promulgate a manganese water quality criterion within 90 days.
