Michigan Department of Transportation lifts enforcement of spring weight restrictions north to M-46, US-131, M-46, including entire Thumb Region

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) issued General Spring Weight Restriction Bulletin No. 9 on Thursday, announcing that effective Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 4 p.m. restrictions will be lifted from the southern Michigan border north to and including M-46 in Muskegon County from the US-31 Business Route in the City of Muskegon, then east to US-131, then North on US-131 to M-46 then east to the intersection of 1-75 North near Saginaw, to the intersection of M-25 near Bay City, East to M-46 including the entire Thumb Region. Frost restrictions are still in effect for the remainder of the state and will be imposed and enforced on all state trunkline highways north of the M-46 line.
