Nucor Steel Gallatin to upgrade its hot strip plant with Danieli Quality Strip Production (QSP~R)

In order to extend the range of steel grades and increase production capacity, Nucor has contracted Danieli to upgrade its hot strip plant in Ghent, Kentucky, USA. The revamp is the first time that a classical compact thin slab casting and rolling facility has been fully reconfigured into an ultra-modern Quality Strip Production (QSP~R) plant.
