Bryskin works to establish Russian-Western network of global information exchange

Bryskin toured the Moscow Electrolamp Plant, the largest full-scale production of this type in the world. This factory with excellent metalworking facilities is now almost shut down. The break-up of the former Soviet Union destroyed established economic links inside the country and resulted in a lack of production orders. Russian businessmen are currently seeking partners to help improve the economy and utilize the R&D experience of Russian scientists and engineers in cooperative ventures with European and American manufacturing. Bryskin hopes that the participation of the Russians in the TMS symposium will establish a network of global exchange of information that will mutually benefit Russia and the West.
