Professor Glyn James FIMA

Glyn James died on 15 October 2019 aged 83 years. He was a former Secretary and Vice President of the Institute and an active member of the West Midlands Branch. His academic career began at North Gloucestershire Technical College, Cheltenham. He moved to Rugby College of Engineering Technology in 1964 and then to the maths department at Coventry Polytechnic at the merger on 1 January 1970. Here his vision, drive and dedication to the field of mathematics soon became apparent.
