WHEN Corex Plastics, which has been extruding and fabricating plastics products in Australia for over thirty years, decided to undertake a review into their manufacturing process to identify any possibilities for efficiencies to be made, they found that a they were losing 98 per cent of their product to landfill. "A huge amount of our product was going to landfill, and it's a very valuable commodity to us because the best thing to make our sheeted products out of is our own sheet product," general manager of Corex Recycling Matt Nettleton said.
