Street Crane installs overhead cranes at facility in Barnsley

Derbyshire-based Street Crane has installed its overhead cranes at a new 'state of the art' fabrication facility for Thornhill Heat Exchangers - a leading manufacturer of rubber gaskets and plate heat exchangers. Six Street overhead cranes have been installed - one with a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes and five with a lifting capacity of 15 tonnes. They are being used to lift materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium and titanium onto the machines that manufacture the heat exchangers; they will also be used to handle the fabricated storage vessels that will be produced at the site.
