FERC Denies Rehearing of Dominion’s Eastern Market Access Project

The Commission on August 10, denied the Accokeek Intervenors’[1] request for rehearing of the certificate order for Dominion Energy Cove Point LNG, LP’s (DECP) (CP17-15) Eastern Market Access Project and held that its analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) was adequate. The Commission’s January 23 certificate order approved the Eastern Market Access Project, finding the pipeline expansion to serve a power plant and local distribution company in the Washington, D.C. area met the Commission’s requirements.
