Energy Transfer Partners' Crude Oil Gathering Project Would Support Sunoco Pipeline's Delaware Basin Extension

ETP Crude LLC (OR15-38) petitioned FERC to issue a declaratory order approving the overall tariff and rate structure, proration procedure and the other matters for a new crude oil pipeline that will have the capacity to accept approximately 120,000 barrels per day (b/d) of crude oil from receipt points located in Reeves County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico for transportation to delivery points in Loving County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico. This project will consist of three separate gathering systems, constituting approximately 130 miles of total pipeline, the applicant told FERC, and it will enable producers and marketers in the rapidly expanding Delaware Basin to deliver crude oil into Sunoco Pipeline LP’s Delaware Basin Extension (a 130- mile pipeline) for delivery to both interstate and intrastate markets. ETP asked the Commission to rule favorably no later than 12/1/15 to help ensure that the facilities are ready during the first half of 2016.
