Weymouth Compressor Station Construction OK Upheld on Rehearing

FERC staff properly handled the authorization to begin construction of the Weymouth compressor station in Massachusetts as part of the Atlantic Bridge expansion of Algonquin Gas Transmission LLC, FERC determined in a May 21 order. The order (CP16-9) denied requests for rehearing that challenged FERC staff’s issuance of a notice to proceed with construction of the Weymouth compressor station and use of additional Atlantic Bridge facilities.
