Ohio’s pooling law for oil and gas drilling is not an unconstitutional taking of private property, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held February 6, in affirming the district court’s grant of the defendants’ motion to dismiss (Kerns v. Chesapeake Exploration LLC, No. 19-3636).
