摘要

The solid-liquid equilibrium (SLE) phase diagram for the ternary systems of (water + cobalt nitrate + manganese nitrate) was experimentally determined via a method based on conductivity measurements under atmospheric pressure. Three isotherms were established at 20 degrees C, 0 degrees C and -15 degrees C. The characterization of solid phases formed in the three isotherms was conducted using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), and was confirmed using chemical analysis. Three stable solid phases were identified in these isotherms are: ice, manganese nitrate hexahydrate Mn(NO3)(2)center dot 6H(2)O and Cobalt nitrate hexahydrate Co(NO3)(2)center dot 6H(2)O.
