Reproductive performance on four Irish grass based dairy herds: associations with milk production and milk composition

The study shows longer calving to service and calving to conception intervals are both associated with higher milk production in early lactation. However, conception rate to 1st service was not associated with milk production. This would indicate that differential effects of milk production on reproductive function in dairy cows.
