The recycled carbon black(rCB) sector begins the year in a considerable state of flux with a series of business developments and boardroom changes among major players.Germany-based Pyrolyx AG will be hoping for an end to months of turmoil,which have seen the departure of chairman and founder Niels Raeder and contract-termination of its chief financial officer Sven Eric Molzahn.The management changes were announced along with moves to close the company's HQ in Munich and transfer functions to the US,where Pyrolyx expects to generate most future business.Raeder started Pyrolyx in 2008 and led expansions,such as its majority takeover of US tire-pyrolysis firm ReKlaim Inc.and a project to build the world's biggest rCB plant in Terre Haute,Indiana.
