The Industrial Lubricants Committee hosted the presentation "The Color of Money: Defining the Value of 'Green' Lubricants," by Michael Zink from Evonik RohMax USA, Inc. The speaker reviewed concepts driving green technologies - biodegradability, renewable resources, greenhouse gases and carbon footprints - and their implications for the lubricant market. Even though everything green has been a very popular topic lately, there is still very little information about what can be called "green" and what is a driving force for implementation of green industrial lubricants.
