The article presents the results of the kinematic study of the balancing method of the new constructive pumping unit and proposed analytical equations for determining the weight of the moving and rotary loads and the torque value on the output shaft of the gearbox of the transforming mechanism,when the rocking point of the boom pump rod is moved up and down using combined balancing.As a result of calculations made in accordance with the technical parameters of various pumping units,it was found for certain values of both rotor and movable coun-terweight that when the rods suspension point moves up and down,the rocking torque is fully balanced and the output shaft gear conversion mechanism reaches its minimum value.It was found that,compared with traditional pumping units,the proposed constructive solution provides a gain of about 1.6-2.1 times,which saves up to 45% of the electric power during operation.
