China's state-owned CNOOC has started supplying very low- sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO) from its fagship 440,000 b/d Huizhou refnery in south China, helping ease pressure from high inven- tories of gasoline and diesel. The switch to VLSFO production consumed some interme- diate products that were being used as feedstock for Huizhou's fuid catalytic cracker (FCC), helping the refnery to reduce yields of gasoline and diesel, a refnery ofcial said.
