Power use in China’s Guangxi reaches new high

Power consumption in south China’s Guangxi region reached a historical high in late June, as the temperature turned hotter after a stretch of rainy weather since early last month. Power supply on the power grid in Guangxi reached 474GWh on 22 June, according to the South Power Grid com- pany, which operates the power grid in Guangxi. This marked a new record high, up by 0.42pc from the last high reached earlier this year.
