China’s aluminium exports remained high in July

China’s aluminium exports approached a four-year high in July, customs data show. Exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium prod- ucts rose by 18pc on the year and by 1.8pc on the month to 519,000t in July. May’s exports hit 485,000t, the highest since 540,000t in December 2014.
