Mexico overtakes China as top US coke importer

Mexico has replaced China as the top destination for US petro- leum coke exports this year, with July volumes up by almost half from a year earlier. Mexico took 486,700t in July, over a quarter more than the second largest destination, Turkey. This was a 48pc increase from July 2017 and 22pc more than in June.
