US petroleum coke supply is likely to be lower than normal throughout the second quarter as refneries continue produc- tion cuts to match an ongoing collapse in global fuels demand. US independent refners Marathon Petroleum and Valero announced that they will cut throughputs by 15-30pc from typical levels this quarter.
