Chinese demand lifts Us green coke exports

Strong demand from China supported US green petroleum coke exports in June. The US shipped 474,300t of green coke to China in June, a 54pc increase on the year, according to recent US Census data. Following disruptions from the Covid-19 pandemic in the frst quarter, China has returned to the US coke market since the Chinese government began granting waivers from high tarifs on US material.
