LafargeHolcim ‘very positive’ on cement outlook

The world’s largest cement maker LafargeHolcim expects a strong cement market this year in spite of the efects of the Covid-19 pandemic. “I am very positive on 2020,” chief executive Jan Jenisch said on 30 April. The company has not seen a slowdown in its markets outside of China and has a strong order book, Jenisch said.
