UAE-based storage frm BPGIC plans to build a 250,000 b/d refnery in Fujairah, with the frst phase to be completed by the frst quarter of 2020. The frm did not give a start date for the plant. BPGIC will gear the refnery towards meeting growing de- mand for products that comply with the International Maritime Organisation 0.5pc sulphur cap on marine fuels, which will come into force on 1 January 2020.
