Crude oil import costs

Fourth quarter 2017 crude oil import costs increasedoverall in all IEA member countries. The total IEAaverage increase was 18% over third quarter 2017 levels.Prices increased the most in France, Italy andJapan (+20%). Year on year, average import costs in IEAmember countries showed an overall increase of 25%.The largest increases occurred in Spain (+28%),followed by Italy and France (+27%).
