Crude oil import costs

In first quarter 2018, crude oil import costs increasedoverall in all IEA member countries. The total IEAaverage increase was 9% over fourth quarter 2017 levels.Prices increased the most (+12%) in Korea, Japan andSpain. Year on year, average import costs in IEA membercountries showed an overall increase of 23%. The largestincrease occurred in Spain (+28%) and Italy (+27%).
