In April of 1992,my late father,Dr.Harold Rossmoore,published a paper in Lubrication Engineering titled "Biostatic Fluids,Friendly Bacteria,and Other Myths in Metalworking Microbiology." Unfortunately,some 13 years later,most of those beliefs still persist.Furthermore,several self-described experts and pseudo-scientists are writing a host of new misconceptions into the lore.Bob Dylan said,"If the arrow is sharp and the point is swift,it can pierce through the dust no matter how thick."
