Ballard and Siemens join forces on zero-emission fuel cell engine

Ballard Power Systems has signed a development agreement to develop a zero-emission fuel cell engine to power Siemens' Mireo light rail train in Germany. The expected value of the deal is around $9 million ({EUR}7.6 million) and initial deployments are planned for 2021.
