Ken Medema was born legally blind in Grand Rapids,Mich.,in 1942.Blindness was not commonly understood in those days and he was shunned by fellow schoolchildren.At age five,his mother got him interested in the piano - with Braille music sheets and his own fantastic memory,he grew to become a famous composer (with much of his work in the Christian sector).We sing some of his anthems in our church choir and they are excellent - lots of energy,upbeat and with a full sound and message.
